Q. When and where do you play?
A. We play at Wells Leisure Centre, Charter Way, Wells, Somerset, BA5 2FB on Wednesday evenings from 7.10pm to 9.10pm. If you go to reception, they will direct you to the courts. We only play doubles matches with feather shuttles and these can be men’s, women’s or mixed to suit the player availability.

A. We have about 30 members, both men and women. There are no age restrictions. Members under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Q. What is the playing standard and do you play in leagues?
A. Members are expected to play to an intermediate standard or above. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate beginners or players with limited experience and would advise that they join a ‘No Strings’ session (see www.nostringsbadminton.co.uk for local session times). We currently have one team in the North Somerset League and home matches are played at Wells Leisure Centre. Although it is a men’s league, women can and do play in it as well.
