About Us

Have you played before but want more practice? Looking to get back into badminton after a break? Wells City Badminton Club is a friendly competitive club, playing to an intermediate level and above. We are affiliated with Badminton England and have a team participating in the North Somerset Badminton League. We welcome new members who already have some playing experience.

Location and Club Nights

We are located at Wells Leisure Centre, Charter Way, Wells, Somerset, BA5 2FB

We play every Wednesday evening from 7:10pm until 9:10pm (CLOSED IN AUGUST)

League Participation

Wells City Badminton Club has a team participating in the North Somerset Badminton League. Join our club and have the opportunity to compete against other teams in the league. Show off your skills and enjoy the thrill of competitive badminton matches.

Open to both men and women.

​Home matches are played at Wells Leisure Centre on Friday nights starting at 7pm.

We would like to invite intermediate and above standard players from Wells and the surrounding area to join our levels (men and women) Open Tournament. Partners change for each match, picked out of a hat. Fee £5
